Bob enters the meeting room and touches the phone on the meeting room table. During the meeting Bob gets a phone call from a collleague dialing Bob's office number.
At no point in time has Bob ever entered a code on the shared meeting room phone.
How does this work?
By touching the phone, Bob starts the eGo pairing between the eGo compliant device (the phone) and the eGo device (e.g. a watch, a belt,..). The eGo pairing done, the phone and eGo have a logical channel of communication on which they can exchange credentials. For instance, a SIP session is initiated using the data from Bob's eGo device.
As soon as Bob gets out of range of the phone, the SIP session is terminated.
